I don’t. As I said on FB, I had traumatic events happen in my childhood. I survived child abuse but it has left mental scars. I am working on it. I can get in a boat now. So I’m improving. I find books that deal with swimming, of all genres even horror, helpful. Instead of scaring me more they normalize it for me. Sometimes they bring home the message that I need to get over it and learn to swim. So I read them, even if I hyperventilate at parts. Haha.

I don't knowhow to swim. They tried to teach me in grade school, but I hated putting my face in the water.
